The ban on travel from certain countries that took effect Monday — reminiscent of President Donald Trump’s first-term restrictions that became known to many as the “Muslim ban” — is once again souring relationships among Arab American voters in the key battleground state of Michigan, a group that Trump sought to make inroads with during the 2024 election.

One has to wonder exactly how gullible people are. The Orange-Hued Racist was pretty fucking clear in his first term how he detested Arabs, at least, Arabs not sitting on piles of petrodollars. And his Trump Whispering Nazi, Discount Goebbels, is still by his side.

Did anyone seriously expect anything different this time around?

Doesn't everyone get, by now, that he plays his supporters for suckers and now that he's in his second (and hopefully last) term, he doesn't need any of them? His track record over his entire adult life has been that he buttfucks everybody who tries to do business with him and, even if he fails in his business, nobody else comes out better than he does.

You can be pretty sure that, when Trump is alone with Miller, they use a two-word epithet to describe Arabs and the first word of that epithet is "sand".

Overweight, Not Politically Reliable and Nonwhite Soldiers Need Not Attend

The Administration screened the soldiers who were the backdrop of the Syphilitic Sociopath-in-Chief's speech for political reliability and weight.

Note also the paucity of nonwhite soliders. Something like 20% of the soldiers in the Army are Black, but you'd never know that from the crowd at his pseudo-campaign rally. That’s the whitest crowd I’ve seen, short of the gallery at a PGA Masters tournament. The audience looked more like Klansmen in camo.

Politicizing the military once was a big no-no. But Republicans have sold their soul to the Fat Orange Felonious Fascist, so they're just lying on their bellies and only raising their heads to kiss his ass.

As for the Army, it's broken its oath to defend the Constitution. They serve the Over-made-up Buffoon, now.

I was a medic at the Santa Ana protests in OC today. I watched police fire tear gas, flash bangs, & rubber bullets into crowds of men, women, & children. Other medics and I were clearly marked with red crosses, and the police were targeting us. One of the most fucked up things I’ve ever seen.

America was founded as a Christian nation, and I believe our government should reflect that truth, not drift further from it,” the Illinois Republican wrote. The congresswoman had initially referred to Singh as a “Muslim,” in an X post that was also later deleted, according to a screenshot posted by Politico reporter Nicholas Wu.

Bigoted, racist, and historically ignorant to boot. But that's about what one might expect from white nationalist imbeciles such as Miller.

THE CITY spoke with several dazed and damp-eyed family members throughout the course of the afternoon, trying to figure out news of their loved ones who had appeared in court only to be whisked out of view.

This is the result of Discount Goebbel's and the SFV's push to deport large numbers of people-- they have to go for the easiest to find. The very easiest are those who are following the legal procedures with regard to their cases.

What gets me is they all seem to like cosplaying as though they're going off for the third iteration of the Iraq War.

Discount Goebbels wants the ICEstapo to grab everyone they see, not just the criminals that the administration has been saying for months will be the target.

“Stephen Miller wants everybody arrested. ‘Why aren’t you at Home Depot? Why aren’t you at 7-Eleven?'” the official recited.

One of the [Enforcement Removal Operations] officials in attendance stood up and stated that the Department of Homeland Security and the White House had publicly messaged about targeting criminal illegal immigrants, and therefore, ICE was targeting them, and not the general illegal immigration population.

“Miller said, ‘What do you mean you’re going after criminals?’ Miller got into a little bit of a pissing contest. ‘That’s what Tom Homan says every time he’s on TV: ‘We’re going after criminals,'” the ICE official told Miller, according to the first official.

Thanks to Discount Goebbels, the ICEstapo is targeting those migrants who are following procedure by showing up for court hearings. They are sending the message that the rule of law is for chumps and all that counts to them is naked force.

It's a lesson that we had better all heed.

If He Talks Like a Russian Plant and Acts Like a Russian Plant

MAGA podcaster Steve Bannon is calling on President Donald Trump to nix support for Ukraine after it carried out a surprise drone attack in Russia that blindsided the White House.

Bannon, one of Trump’s closest confidants, commended Ukraine for executing the attack. However, he was not pleased that it occurred without Trump’s knowledge, as the White House revealed on Monday.

“The White House has to condemn this immediately and pull all support,” Bannon said on his War Room podcast Monday.

Bannon said Kyiv should have notified Trump of the escalation. He said the supposed betrayal, which he claims has brought the United States closer to war with Russia, must have consequences for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Betrayal"? Really? The Ukrainians are fighting a war against a brutal invader. They are not our proxies, unless Bannon is saying that we are at war with Russia and the Ukrainians are our tools. They don't need our permission to strike back, using their weapons which they have designed and produced.

No, this reads as though Bannon is a mouthpiece for the Russians.

I've been busy with other stuff, so I haven't commented on the Ukrainian drone attack on Russia's long-range bomber force. For one thing, it may take some time to get a good damage assessment, but keep in mind they've previously shot down two A-50s (Russian AWACS), and the Russians don't have a lot of them.

Now the Russians have to contend with the fact that any truck travelling their roads could, in essence, be a Ukrainian aircraft carrier. They will have to protect their bases all the way to the Pacific coast.

And that has its own challenges.

It also has some rather harsh implications for the rest of the world. While it may be difficult to mount such an attack on Diego Garcia (which has a lot of American bombers parked there), there are other places that are close to civilian areas where a bunch of drones could be launched from a truck. Basically, everything from a Geo Metro on up is now a potential aircraft carrier.

From 3-D printed weapons to drones, a lot of things that were once state-only or state-controlled items are now available to anyone with the skills to make and use them. Those skills don't seem to be terribly difficult to acquire.

Starship; Elon's Toy

SpaceX's ninth Starship test flight ended abruptly on Tuesday when the rocket experienced a "rapid unscheduled disassembly" — the company's favourite euphemism for "exploded." It's the third Starship test flight in a row to end in fiery failure, Elon Musk's space company having had a poor run as of late.

Nine flights, nine failures. The Muskian fanbois claim that SpaceX is making "incremental progress" and they claim that this is more efficient and cost-effective than the way that NASA does it.

Maybe so. But consider the opposite view: By the ninth flight of the Saturn V rocket, Alan Shepard was hitting golf balls on the Moon.

Napster vs. AI

Remember Napster and other file-sharing systems? The music industry went batshit. The threatened and, in some cases brought, legal action against people who downloaded music. They threatened criminal action.

But when you're a billionaire and have an AI company, you can get away with vacuuming up millions of copyrighted works in order to train your program and you don't have to pay a fucking nickel for that.

Once again, laws and rules are only for little people to obey.
